A William IV silver snuff box by Nathaniel Mills, the rounded rectangular form with moulded edge and engine turned decoration, shield crest engraving to the hinged lid and a foliate scroll thumb-piece opening to a gilded interior. Hallmarked Birmingham 1837. Length measuring 7.7 cm, weight 99.4 grams.

Condition Report
Displaying general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing. A few minor dints/nicks, especially around edges. There is rubbing and significant loss of detail to the shield crest and areas of the engine turned decoration. Hinged lid appears in good working order and closes flush. Gilded interior faded. Hallmarks a little rubbed but still clearly legible.
