Lot Description
A George III silver snuff box, the rounded rectangular form with basket weave textured decoration to the whole and opening to a silver-gilt interior. Hallmarks assumed London 1800, maker's mark probably G.H. Length 2.5" (6.3cm), gross weight 2.88 ozt (89.4 grams).

Condition Report
Appears in good overall condition, displaying some light surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing.
Very slight dint to lid, seen more so to interior.
Some surface rubbing and wear to areas of the decoration but overall textured decoration still fairly crisp and bright.
Hinges appear in good working order. Lid rising very slightly when in the closed position.
Hallmarked twice to interior, to base and lid. Some rubbing but legible.
