The carnelian carved with the arms and motto (Pretio Prudentia Præstat) of a descendant branch of the Morison family, possibly Roderick Morison, the third son of Donald Morison (1811-1897) from Stornoway, Ross and Cromarty who later settled in Queensland, Australia.
