A George lV two handled soup tureen with shaped panel sides, acanthus and floral decoration to the rim and the circular footed base - the handles with oak leaf terminations and the panel shaped lid with similar decoration. Sheffield 1829. Maker R Gainsford. Weight 92.9ozt (2890gms). Width 14.25ins (37cms) - height 10.75ins (27cms).

Purchasing information
    In very good condition, with the wear being in keeping with the age and use with general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. The hallmarks are a little worn but clear and legible.
