Condition Report

An early 20th century 18ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, to the extended claw setting and tapered band. Estimated diamond weight 0.35ct, J-K colour, P1 clarity. Hallmarks for Chester, 1917. Weight 5.7gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Visible repair work to claw setting. The diamond is fairly bright. Graded within the limitations of the mount. It has a large central black inclusion visible without magnification. The diamond is cut with a deep pavilion and high crown. Ring size O1/2.
