Condition Report

A Victorian silver rose bowl, the circular body with silver-gilt interior, embossed with floral scrolls, surrounding two cartouche, one with presentation inscription and standing on a conforming circular footed base. Hallmarked Edward, Edward junior, John & William Barnard, London 1839. Height measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm), weight 8.6 ozt (270 grams).

Purchasing information
    The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Semi circle solder repair, positioned below the rim. Gilding bright and probably re-done. Maker's mark and serial number look to have been purposefully partially erased, remaining hallmarks are clear and legible.
