Condition Report

OMEGA - a gentleman's Constellation Megaquartz wrist watch. Numbered 196.0015, 396.0809. Signed electronic movement. Silvered dial with baton hour markers, day and date aperture to three. Fluted bezel, stainless steel case fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 37mm. Together with a gentleman's Omega Geneve automatic bracelet watch.

Purchasing information
    Megaquartz:

  • Movement is not currently functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or symptomatic of something more serious is unknown.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. please be aware that the gasket has degraded and will require replcement.
  • Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches, some lifting of the laminate visible to the naked eye.
  • Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing
  • Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting.
  • Strap shows marks and creasing.
  • Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.

    Geneve:

  • Movement is currently functioning. Date change has not been tested.
  • Movement has light scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Some discolouration of the plates. Winding stem is broken.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with some light marks.
  • Hands appear to be in a generally good condition with some light marks.
  • Glass has noticeable scratches, score marks and marks.
  • Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Winding stem pipe is oval rather than round. Seal has degraded into a black sludge.
  • Crown is missing and will require replacement.
  • Bracelet has medium scratches and some signs of stretching to links.
  • Clasp is currently functioning and shows visible scratches and marks.
  • Bracelet measures approximately 17.5cm including case.
