Condition Report

A jade carved brooch. The rectangular-shape jadeite carved to depict a bird and plums, with foliate detail. Length 4.5cms. Weight 17gms. Jade untested.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches and small patches of minor discolouration in keeping with general wear. The jade has a mottled appearance with a light green hue, and whitish patches, condition good with some minor abrasion to some raised surfaces. Jade untested for natural colour origin. The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies or jadeite originating in Burma.
