Condition Report

A George III silver swing handled sugar basket, of elliptical outline having scalloped and beaded rim, with dual engraved crest depicting crossed anchors and with silver-gilt interior, the whole raised upon pedestal foot having further beaded rim. Hallmarked London 1786, the maker probably Thomas Daniell. Maximum length 5 4/8 inches (14 cm), weight 5.16 ozt (160.4 grams).

Purchasing information
    Overall good to fair condition. The exterior displaying tarnishing, light scratches and few small dints commensurate with age. Gilt interior with minor rubbing and marks. Hallmarks legible although marker's mark with rubbing and distortion.
