Condition Report

A pair of George III silver shell butter dishes, the classic form crested and standing on two whelk feet. Hallmarked London 1766 and the maker's mark probably for Elizabeth Aldridge. Maximum length measuring 5 1/4 inches (13.5 cm), gross weight 6.1 ozt (190 grams).
