Condition Report

BAUME & MERCIER - a gentleman's Capeland chronograph wrist watch. Reference MV045216, serial 5255264. Automatic movement. Blue dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to six, nine and twelve, date aperture to three. Stainless steel case fitted to a signed black leather strap with stainless steel deployant clasp. 39mm. Box.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning. Chronograph appears to be functioning but we have been unable to test the hour counter.
  • We have been unable to gain access to the movement to be able to report its condition.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe
  • Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows light scratches and marks.
  • Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting.
  • Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration.
  • Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
