A mid 19th century gold split pearl memorial hair bracelet. The scrolling foliate monogram panel, suspending a split pearl and black enamel heart pendant, to the woven hair bracelet. Length 16.5cms. Weight 13.6gms.

    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. Woven hair bracelet possibly replacement. Enamel replacement. Glazed panel to reverse of pendant shattered. Applied scrolling monogram read initials L G. Personalised engraving to reverse of pendant reads Lavinia Oct : 3 : 1850. Pendant can be detached.
