Condition Report

An early Victorian silver mustard pot with blue glass liner, the circular form with foliate scroll openwork sides, hinged lid with engraved floral scrolls and a shell form thumb-piece. Hallmarked George John Richards, London 1845. Maximum height measures 2 3/4 inches (7 cm), silver weight 2.88 ozt (89.8 grams).

Purchasing information
    The mustard pot displays general wear, surface scratches, marks and tarnishing in keeping with the age and use. Some minor dints, also slight knocks to foot rim. Remnants of a sticker mark to lid. Hinges appear a little loose but in working order. The hallmarks are clear and legible, also clear part hallmarks to lid. The glass appears in good overall good condition.
