Three early to mid-20th century silver sauce boats.

Condition Report

An early twentieth century silver sauce boat of typical form with ribbon and reed rim and raised on three stepped hoof feet, hallmarked Asprey & Co Ltd., London 1914. Together with two later sauce boats, the first larger example hallmarked Sheffield 1931 and the second with beaded rim and hallmarked Birmingham 1948. Weight 14.86 ozt (462.2 grams). (3).

Purchasing information
    All three sauce boats display some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some minor surface dints, mainly to the London and Sheffield examples. On the Sheffield sauce boat, handle is broken at lower join. Impression from one of the feet visible on the London example. The hallmarks are mostly clear and legible.
