Condition Report

A pair of George II silver sauce boats, the oval bodies with scalloped rim, high arch leaf capped scrolling handle and standing on three shell mounted hoof feet. Hallmarked London 1753 with maker's mark W.?. Maximum height measuring 4 inches (10 cm), gross weight 15.1 ozt (472 grams).

Purchasing information
    The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The feet have compressed into the body. Numerous minor dents, pitting and creases, more so to one example than the other. A couple of minor splits to the fluted edge. Hallmarks worn.
