Condition Report

An early 20th century 9ct gold amethyst and split pearl pendant. The circular-shape amethyst collets, within a split pearl scroll surround, suspending a pear-shape amethyst drop. May be worn as a brooch. One split pearl deficient. Length 5.1cms. Weight 3.3gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Some areas of discolouration to the pendant.
  • One split pearl deficient, some possible replacement split pearls.
  • The split pearls have a cream body colour, visible blisters and blemishes.
  • Amethyst medium light pinkish purple, weak to moderate saturation of colour. Typical inclusions visible with magnification.
  • Minor Abrasion visible to the facet edges.
  • Stamped 9ct.
