Condition Report

A George II silver caster, having pierced fluted cover with fruiting finial, the baluster body with grapevine engraving above foliate embossing, the whole raised upon a footed base. Hallmarked Samuel Wood, London 1753. Height measures 7 inches (17.75 cm), 8.79 ozt (273.4 grams).

    Appears in overall good to fair condition commensurate with age. Displaying few minor dints, knocks and light tarnishing. With light rubbing to surface but decoration still in fair condition. Hallmarks with slight distortion but still clear and legible, part hallmarks to cover severely rubbed and worn.
