Condition Report

An early 20th century 9ct gold opal and split pearl pendant. The circular opal cabochon and split pearl foliate wreath, atop a lattice disc with split pearl surround and detachable surmount. Diameter 2.9cms. Weight 5.1gms.

  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Split pearls are moderately well matched with minor to moderate wear and some yellow discolouration.
  • Opal with fair play of colour across a range of hues. Minor abrasion.
