An Edwardian Art Nouveau planished silver bowl.

Condition Report

An Edwardian Art Nouveau large silver bowl, the planished bulbous body to a spread footed base and applied with three tendrils forming loop handles with stylised foliate terminals. Hallmarked James Wakely & Frank Clarke Wheeler, London 1905. Height measuring 7 inches (17.8 cm), rim diameter measuring 8 1/4 inches (21 cm), weight 52.66 ozt (1638.2 grams).

Purchasing information
    Bowl appears in a tarnished state and would benefit from a clean and polish. General surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Many surface nicks and heavier scratches and contact marks visible to the interior of the bowl. A few minor surface dints and bumps, especially an area on the foot near to the join of one of the handles. Hallmarks clear and legible, maker's mark a little distorted but still legible. Also with impressed retailer's mark to underside and numbered 373470.
