Condition Report

A George V silver-gilt mounted inkwell, of clear glass square form with chamfered edges, the globular lid with engraved initials. Hallmarked Birmingham 1912, no maker's mark visible. Maximum height measuring 3 5/8 inches (9.2 cm).

Purchasing information
    In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The clear glass base has significant surface scratches visible. The hinged lid does not close fully flush with a minor bump to the top. The interior collar and rim has remnants of polish and white residue. No maker's mark visible, other hallmarks clear and legible.
