A late Victorian silver and gold opal and diamond brooch. The graduated circular opal cabochon crescent line, with old-cut diamond spacers. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct. Diameter 2.8cms. Weight 4.9gms.

- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Diamonds show varied inclusions, mostly moderate to profuse small scattered dark inclusions. Some surface reaching feathers.
- Opals are well matched with good play of colour, predominently green and orange hues. Minor to moderate abrasion.
