A mid 19th century gold emerald and rose-cut diamond cluster ring, with glazed locket reverse.

Ring size Q1/2. 3.6gms.

Purchasing information

  • Scratches and small marks in keeping with wear. Areas of discolouration.
  • Band resized, small section of rose-coloured gold to back of the band.
  • Gems are in closed foil back settings, deterioration to the foils.
  • Diamonds vary slightly in shape, some slightly ill-fitting to the mounts. One diamond with small chip.
  • Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.


  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Emeralds appear a fairly well matched medium slightly bluish green hue. General minor to moderate abrasions, two emeralds with small nicks, two emeralds with chips.
  • Diameter of ring head 1.1cms.
