Purchasing information
The mug is in fair condition. There are surface scratches, shallow dents and dints to the whole, as well as some deeper scrapes and notches. The engraved and embossed decoration is rubbed in places but mostly intact. There are areas of tarnish and build-ups of polish in the grooves. There are some fairly deep dents to the hollow handle, a crack in the silver where the handle is joined to the body of the mug. There are signs of repair to the piece, more so to the handle. The base rim of the mug is bent so it stands very slightly unsteadily. The inside is very tarnished and discoloured. The hallmark is very worn and difficult to read.
