George V rose bowl, part fluted with foliate

Condition Report

George V rose bowl, part fluted with foliate embossing, shaped rim with applied scroll decoration, personal presentation engraving, raised above a pedestal circular stepped base. Maximum height measures 5 inches (13cm), weight 12.41ozt (385.8gms). Hallmarked Sheffield 1913, sponsors mark reads W.F A.F, marked to the base Goldsmiths Company Newcastle.

Purchasing information
    The rose bowl is in very good condition. There are minor surface scratches to the whole, and areas of tarnish in the grooves of the decoration. The inside of the bowl is very discoloured. There is an engraving to the side of the bowl which reads 'To Lieut. and Mrs. T.F. Smeaton, From Officers of H. Company, January, 1917'. The base is stamped 'GOLDSMITHS Co. NEWCASTLE', and engraved 'Chep!'. The hallmark is clear and unrubbed.
