Victorian silver swing handle sweet dish with

Condition Report

Victorian silver swing handle sweet dish with acanthus scroll bright cut engraving, frilled rim and the base engraved with a depiction of a cathedral. Diameter measures 5 1/2 inches (14cm), weight 3ozt (99grams). Hallmarked very rubbed probably 1844.

Purchasing information
    The dish has overall surface scratches, there is some tarnishing to the interior of the dish, the date and the makers marks have been rubbed. There has been some rubbing to the decoration on the handle, and some scratches to the vacant cartouche. The underside of the dish has seen some repair work with some soldering showing.
