A 19th Century campaign-style brass-bound rosewood box of rectangular form with brass strapwork, cartouche and corner mounts to the hinged cover. The interior with a row of vacant compartments, 17.5" x 10" x 5" high, (45cm x 26cm x 12.5cm)

    Cover has some splitting and scratches, plus lifting to the brasswork - some securing tacks missing. The piece needs a clean. Interior - pen tray missing. No evidence of having had a slope. Split to base.
