Condition Report

A late 19th century tortoiseshell pique locket, of oval outline, the front of the locket with geometric silver inlay, to the plain tortoiseshell surmount. Length 4.9cms. Weight 8.7gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and minor nicks in keeping with general wear. There appear to be names scratched to the insides of the locket. There is a small split to the surmount, probably during manufacture. The inside reveals a glazed panel with gilt metal mount.
