Condition Report

A late 19th century oval shell cameo brooch, the shell cameo carved to depict the side profile of a gentleman with a goatee to the openwork floral and scroll border. Length 6.5cms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair. There are slight scratches to the cameo in keeping with overall wear. There is dirt to the detail of the cameo, there is a noticeable crack to the base of the cameo. There are scratches and areas of discolouration. The back pin and catch has possibly been replaced. Weight 20.4gms.
