Condition Report

A 9ct gold shell cameo brooch, the oval-shape shell cameo, carved to depict the three graces, within a rope-twist border and openwork surround. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1974. Length 6.2cms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. Minor surface wear and light scratches in keeping with general wear. There is some light discolouration to the front of the cameo. Cameo in good to fair condition with fine fractures, mainly visible at the reverse. The reverse of the shell has areas of white staining. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. With safety chain. Brooch fitting in good working order. Weight 28.8gms.
