Condition Report

A Continental late 19th century circular miniature portrait brooch, painted on ivory depicting 'Madam Pallien' with a diamond point and seed pearl border. Personal engraving to reverse reads 'I,E April 10th 1888 Mme Pallien'. Maker mark - Jaques & Marcus. Diameter of brooch - 2.9cms.

Purchasing information
    The brooch is generally in good condition. The miniature portrait is finely painted. A scratch can be seen to the glass front. The diamond points are seed pearls are well matched and seem secure. The brooch pin and clasp are in good working order. The hinged pendant suspender is also in good working order. Minor scratches and dents can be seen, general wear and tear.
