Condition Report
An Arts & Crafts gold amethyst necklace. The replacement circular amethyst cabochon filigree panel, suspended within a stylised leaf surround, with similarly designed colourless-gem drop, to the initial surmount and fancy-link chain. Length of pendant 7cms. Length 45cms. Weight 15.8gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition fair. There are scratches to pendant in keeping with overall wear. The central drop is not original and has been added at a later date, there is a dent to the back of the central panel. There are typical tigerstripe inclusions to the amethyst visible with magnification. There are visible areas of deterioration to the foil backing of the colourless paste. There are some areas of greening to the initial panel. Initial panel is a possible replacement. The chain is probably not original however it is of a similar period. The clasp is secure.
