Condition Report
An early 20th century 18ct gold necklace suspending a Russian pre-revolutionary hardstone egg and similar pendant fringe. Designed as a series of twelve variously sized hardstone eggs, to include lapis lazuli, tiger's-eye, rose quartz and others, each suspended from a plain cap, to the fancy-link chain. Eight egg surmounts with Russian 56 zolotnik mark, assay master Yakov Davidov (1857-1862) and/or Cyrillic maker's mark "rn". Lengths of eggs from 14 to 10mms. Length of chain 40cms. Weight 26.6gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The clasp is likely replacement. Clasp stamped 9ct. Amber egg mount re-glued. Some mounts slightly loose.
