Condition Report

ROLEX - a 9ct gold manual wind gentleman's wrist watch, the silvered dial with hourly applied Arabic numerals interspaced with markers, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, tonneau shaped case hallmarked Birmingham 1953, fitted to a non-original black leather strap with pin buckle, signed movement. Case width 30mm.

    Rolex wrist watch, movement is currently functioning, movement would benefit from a clean and service, dial is noticeably discolorued and marked from use, hourly markers and luminous paint work is discoloured and showing damage, hands are marked and discoloured, glass is scratched and marked, case has medium scratches from use, case back is scratched and discoloured, bezel is scratched and marked, watch is fitted to a leather strap which is showing signs of wear with creases and wear, pin buckle is scratched. This lot does not come with box or papers. Due to the opening of the case back we recommend that this lot be resealed by an authorised technician before use near water. Fellows do not guarantee the working order or accuracy of any watches sold. Importation of Watches into the US Bidders should be aware that the import of Rolex watches to the US is restricted. Watches (not limited to Rolex) may not be shipped to the USA and import must be undertaken personally. Generally only one watch may be imported in this manner at any one time.
