Condition Report

Two late 19th century brooches, to include an oval-shape chalcedony panel brooch with turquoise foliate detail, together with a domed brooch with cannetille detail. Lengths 4.2 to 3.3cms. Weight 18gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Soft solder repair marks to chalcedony brooch. Replacement panel where a new brooch pin has been secured. Some turquoise are replacements, some possible paste replacements. Repair mark visible to side of domed brooch. Light bruising to the side of the domed brooch. Some rope-twist detail is deficient.
