Condition Report

A late Victorian 15ct gold diamond and ruby horseshoe brooch, circa 1880. The slightly tapered horseshoe, inset with alternating oval-shape ruby and old-cut diamonds. Length 1.8cms. Weight 3.3gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Base metal pin and pin hinge, possible replacements. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond weight 0.07ct. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Very slight wear to the gilt finish.
