Condition Report

A late 19th century gold coral and diamond ring. Designed as three graduated oval-shape carved coral panels, with diamond point marquise-shape spacers, to the replacement band. Weight 1.9gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The band is replacement. Areas of discolouration. Soft solder visible. Reverse of the head shows a split to the back of the central coral mount. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Coral untested for natural colour origin. The coral is a medium reddish orange hue. Significant wear. Glue visible to principal mount. Small chip/large polyp hole to edge of the central stone. Ring size L.
