A late 19th century coral bracelet, designed as a coiled sea serpent, the carved head with rose-cut diamond eyes to the graduated carved coral bead body and carved tail. Coral untested for natural colour origin. Weight 36.3gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Coral untested for natural colour origin. Composite piece, made up of components, possibly from two pieces, dating from the late 19th century. Green staining to the end of one pin. Repair and alteration to the surmount at one end of one of the lion head panels. There is a break to the end of the coral and the surmount is extended. Evidence of repair to the clasp. Coral orangish-red, fair to moderate colour saturation. Coral generally in good condition with minor abrasion, one with a break to the end.
