Condition Report

A mid 19th century 9ct gold coral bracelet, designed as a series of fluted coral curved double panels, with shield-shape coral scroll panel intervals, to the partially concealed clasp. Coral untested for natural colour origin. Length 16.5cms. Weight 21gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair. Some surface wear and light scratches in keeping with age. Light indentations and fine cracks to the reverse of some of the panels. Some wear to the gilt surface. Coral untested for natural colour origin. One coral panel broken, fractured in two. Broken coral panel repaired with minimal glue residue visible. One coral panel moves slightly within its setting. Coral pinkish-red, moderate colour saturation. Colour distribution slightly uneven with some lighter patches. Coral generally in fair to good condition with some abrasion, nicks and natural blemishes. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Stamped 9, partially indistinct. Stamps to one loop indistinct.
