Condition Report

RAYMOND WEIL - a gentleman's wrist watch. Numbered 7039. Signed manual wind calibre 7001. Champagne dial with Roman numeral hour markers. Gold plated case fitted to a non-original black leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 30mm. Together with a gentleman's stainless steel BMW bracelet watch.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has light scratching to the surface.
  • Dial has very light marking and light debris is present which would benefit from a clean and service.
  • Hands have light marking visible when viewed under magnification.
  • Glass has light scratching and light chipping to the edge of the glass with some general marking and debris that would benefit from a clean and a service.
  • Bezel has light tarnishing where the glass meets the bezel and light and medium scratching and occasional nicks.
  • Case has light and medium scratching with light dinting, light denting and nicks particularly to the edges and to the lugs.
  • Crown is currently functioning with very light scratching to the surface.
  • Case back is currently secure with extensive light and medium scratching across the surface, dinting, occasional nicks and some light tarnishing near the strap.
  • Strap has setting with abrasion damage to the strap loop and to the edges of the strap, damage has been caused by the pin buckle resulting in deformation and noticeable splits to the pin holes visible from the inside of the strap.
  • Pin buckle has noticeable wear to the gold plating at the edges and to the pin, some tarnishing and corrosion products are present with pitting to the underside of the buckle.
  • Together with a quartz BMW watch that is not currently functioning.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.

    Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
