Condition Report

A mid 20th century 9ct gold ruby and split pearl locket and a pendant. To include a ruby and split pearl accent cross locket suspended from a belcher-link chain, together with an early 20th century gold split pearl heart-shape pendant. Locket with later hallmarks for Birmingham, 2003. Chain with hallmarks for Sheffield. Length of locket 4.2cms. Length of pendant 2.2cms. Total weight 13.6gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good to fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Pendant with split pearl deficient. Discolouration to front of the locket. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue and on our website for Coloured Gemstones. The rubies are a well matched deep purplish red hue. Typical inclusions. The split pearls are well matched. Length of chain 45cms. Reverse of locket is almost entirely glazed.
