A gentleman's trench style wrist watch.

Description

Condition Report

A gentleman's trench style wrist watch. Import hallmarked London 1917. Numbered 3430831. Unsigned manual wind movement. White dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Silver case fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with base metal pin buckle. 34mm.

Purchasing information
  • Manual wind movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has visible tarnishing. Movement also shows marks and scratches.
  • Dial shows marks which are most prominent to the centre as well as scratches.
  • Hands have tarnishing and marks. Seconds hand may be a later replacement as it appears to be short for the subsidiary dial.
  • Glass show light scratches and marks.
  • Bezel has marks, scratches and dints.
  • Case has noticeable tarnishing as well as marks, scratches and dints.
  • Crown is a different colour it the body of the case indicating the plating has worn off.
  • Case back shows visible dents as well as marks and scratches.
  • Lugs show marks and scratches.
  • Strap appears to have modified to fit the lugs. Strap has marks, creasing and some discolouration.
  • Buckle has noticeable wear to the plating as well as marks and scratches.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
