A pair of late 19th century gold diamond cannetille ear pendants.

Condition Report

A pair of late 19th century gold diamond cannetille ear pendants. Each designed as an old-cut diamond, within a star setting and circular panel surround, with bead and rope-twist decoration, to the later added wire fittings. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. Length 2.5cms. Total weight 4.4gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Panels have been converted to earrings, possibly originally stickpins or another item of jewellery. Evidence of repair to the backs, slightly uneven/indented surfaces. Later added suspension loop and wire fittings. Dents to some of the bead intervals. Diamonds bright and well matched. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Minor inclusions visible under magnification. Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasion. With wire fittings for pierced ears.
