Condition Report

A garnet enamel and diamond button. The circular garnet cabochon, within a rope twist surround, to the green enamel lattice and diamond accent border. Approximate garnet diameter 10mms. Diameter 1.8cms. Weight 5.3gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The enamel shows some minor chips and scratches. The garnet is a medium dark red with fairly good clarity showing typical inclusions. There are some scratches and abrasion to the garnet, some can just be seen with the naked eye. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. The diamond estimated spread weight is 0.06ct. The diamonds are fairly bright, and well matched. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
