Condition Report

A 1930's silver shallow dish, of plain circular outline and decorated with a formalised foliate rim, above a footed base with a conforming border. Hallmarked Elkington & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1937. Diameter measures 10 1/4 inches (26 cm), weight 15.06 ozt (468.4 grams).

Purchasing information
    The dish displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavier spots and patches of tarnishing, also areas of dirt and it would benefit from a clean and polish. Numerous heavier scratches and marks are visible, also some minor dints and a larger knock to the rim. The maker's mark is slightly worn, the hallmarks are clear and legible. Also with impressed maker's name to the underside.
