Condition Report

A late 19th century 18ct gold split pearl, diamond and enamel brooch. Designed as a blue enamel marquise-shape panel, decorated with split pearl and rose-cut diamond clusters,within a white enamel and seed pearl border. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Length 3.2cms. Weight 9.3gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair - good. Two central pearls well matched, small amount of pitting to skins. Diamond well matched. Paste visible at the base of some of the pearls indicating possible replacements. Damage to the nacre on one. Small repair to the blue enamel ground. White enamel in good condition. Minor surface scratches to the reverse in keeping with age.
