Condition Report

A late 19th century gold micro mosaic brooch. The tesserae depicting a country man, within a malachite border and canetille surround. Length 3cms. Weight 7.6gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good - fair. The micro mosaic has incurred only a small amount of wear, with a hair line scratch to one side and a few very small pieces deficient. The mount has a small hole on one side next to the pin. The pin has been replaced on the reverse and there is evidence of solder work.
