Condition Report
An early 20th century 9ct gold turquoise and split pearl pendant and a brooch. The pendant of openwork scrolling design, set throughout with split peals and two turquoise cabochons, the bar brooch of similarly-set. Pendant may be worn as a brooch. Length of pendant 4.9cms. Length of brooch 4.3cms. Weight 6.4gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. The pins are replacement. The bar brooch shows soft solder repairs. The clasp is bent and will not allow the pin to open. One split pearl deficient to the pendant. The turquoise in the pendant have a light blue to mid greenish-blue with some dark veins and abrasion, the reverse of each shows pitting and dark inclusions. The split pearls have a discoloured silvery-grey colouration showing abrasion and peeling to some. The surmount is not soldered to the pendant and may be removed. The turquoise in the bar brooch have a heavily discoloured greenish-blue to green. Split pearls untested for natural origin, some may be replacement.
