Condition Report

A mid 20th century platinum diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond collet, to the single-cut diamond line shoulders and tapered band. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.65ct, I-J colour, P1 clarity. Weight 2.9gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. Some settings may need to be secured.
  • Band shows evidence of repair/ resize.
  • There is a black inclusion and surface reaching grey inclusion visible to the principal diamond with the unaided eye.
  • Dimensions of principal diamond 5.5 by 5.6 by 3.5mms.
  • Estimated total shoulder diamond weight under 0.10ct.

  • One of the diamonds is drawing more yellow than the others.
  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
