An early 20th century 9ct gold sapphire and seed pearl brooch. The lozenge-shape frame, with circular-shape sapphire and seed pearl floral accent. Length 2.3cms. Weight 1.4gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Areas of discolouration and slight greening to reverse of frame.
  • Sapphires medium light purplish blue, weak to moderate saturation of colour, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Some abrasion to facet edges visible with magnification

  • Seed pearls well matched with cream body colour, concentric banding visible with magnification.
  • Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
  • Stamped 9ct.
