Condition Report

An opal and diamond ring. The graduated oval opal cabochon line, with diamond point double spacers, to the early 20th century scrolling gallery band. Weight 4.5gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition good. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band shows evidence of a resize.
  • Would recommend attention to all settings as some claws deficient/worn.
  • The replacement opals are well matched with strong blue, green and red play-of-colour. Light surface scratches and abrasion.
  • Estimated total diamond weight less than 0.05ct.
  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
  • Stamped 18, partial hallmarks.
  • Ring size K.
